Why I Blog
I call the Flower (or Flour) City of Rochester, NY, my home. My love for journaling began in grade school, usually filled with daydreams and the occasional middle school crush.
As I grew, so did my journaling practice—it became less about crushes and more about connection: to my thoughts, emotions, and the parts of myself I was still learning to understand.
Over the past two years, journaling has become one of my most trusted tools for navigating anxiety and overwhelm. It grounds me, helps me process, and reminds me that I’m never truly stuck—I’m evolving.
In 2024, I felt a persistent nudge to start blogging. Truthfully, I resisted. I once despised writing. When I attended college, I chose mathematics as my major to avoid writing essays.
But that inner voice grew louder, and eventually, I listened.
This blog began just like my journals: as a safe space to reflect, sort through life, and make meaning from my experiences. I’m not always the most talkative person, but I’ve realized that I have things worth sharing—stories, insights, and encouragement that might resonate with someone else on their journey.
Writing has helped me make peace with the past, find clarity in the present, and dream for the future. And now, it’s a bridge—connecting me to women like you who are also seeking to live with more intention, gentleness, and growth.
These reflections aren’t just for me anymore. They’re meant to spark something in you, too.

About the blog
This blog is for individuals like you: evolving, exploring, and craving more meaning in the everyday. Whether you’re redefining your purpose, starting something new, or simply trying to slow down and reconnect with yourself, you’re in the right place.
Here, I write about:
• Gardening & grounding hobbies
• Travel & soulful adventures
• Cooking & comfort in the kitchen
• Wellness, mindset, and self-care
• And all the in-between moments that shape who we’re becoming
Through honest reflections, lessons learned, and practical tips, I’ll walk beside you as you nurture your growth and prioritize what truly matters.
My hope? That Telly’s Tales inspires you to take up space, savor your joy, and live with purpose—on your own terms.
Let’s grow through what we go through—together.
A little more about me
Romantic Comedy Fan
I'm a big fan of Romantic Comedies (with happy endings) because their predictability and charm make them stress-free and heartwarming. They spark joy and set those happy hormones into motion!

I like to dabble in baking
(cheddar, bacon, and chives scones I made)
Baking is my escape—a chance to immerse myself in the process and be fully present with each ingredient. No distractions, just the rhythm of mixing, measuring, and creating. While decorating isn’t my strong suit, I love experimenting with new recipes and seeing where they take me.

I LOVE crafts and interactive activities
I thrive on hands-on adventures, diving into guided classes like glass fusion, welding, crafting mouthwatering empanadas, dancing the passionate rhythms of Salsa and Kizomba, pot planting, and so much more! When I’m not exploring new skills, I love creating my own unique experiences to share with others.
I love gardening
I'm a gardener. I love witnessing plants' cycles of life. I feel proud knowing that I play a small part in bringing life to my gardens.
